Easy Homemade Korean BBQ Sauce
With less ingredients and cooking time, this sauce is just perfect to use for your grilled chicken, meat, fish and can also be used as a condiment.

Ingredients
Quantities are shown as originally provided.
- 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce ((125 ml))
- 1/2 cup water ((125 ml))
- 2/3 cup brown sugar ((110 gr))
- 3 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp gochujang ((30 gr))
- 1/2 tsp white pepper powder
- 4 garlic cloves (, grated)
- 1 thumb sized ginger (, grated)
- 1 tbsp corn starch ((8 gr))
- 1 tbsp water

Add all ingredients in a pan, except for corn starch and 1 tbsp water, and bring to a boil on medium heat. Use a whisk to mix everything well.

Mix corn starch with 1 tbsp water. Once the sauce is boiling, add in corn starch mixture while mixing. Continue to cook for a few minutes until the sauce thicken.

Place in an air tight container and keep in the fridge. Last up to 1 month.

Portion it by putting in small ziplock bags and freeze. Thaw in the fridge before using.
