  • 1 lb. pork shoulder or butt, cut into bite sizes
  • 1 Tbs mirin
  • 1 Tbs sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 Tbs chopped garlic
  • 2 Tbs sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 Tbs cooking oil
  • 1 Tbs soy sauce
  • 4 to 5 Serrano, jalapeno or green onion, cut into 1/4 inch pieces

Instructions

    In a mixing bowl, combine pork and next 7 ingredients (until black pepper), marinate for 10 minutes.

    Heat a work or a skillet over high heat; add cooking oil and swirl to coat. add marinated pork, cook 8 to 10 minutes or until 3/4 way cooked and golden edges. Stir occasionally so it will cook and golden evenly.

    Drizzle soy sauce around edge of wok, so soy sauce will evaporate right away as soon as hit wok to give smokey flavor to pork.

    Add serrano and stir everything together about 1 minute. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving plate. Garnish with sesame seeds if you like. Enjoy!
