Ingredients
Quantities are shown as originally provided.
- 19 oz canned pandan flavoured grass jelly (or sub with plain grass jelly)
- 4 cups milk (or plain oat milk, almond milk or soy milk)
- ½ cup brown sugar (light or dark brown sugar both work)
- ½ cup water (cold)
- 16 ice cubes
Instructions
- 1
Open the canned grass jelly with a can opener and carefully pop the jelly out onto a cutting board. Dice the pandan jelly into 0.5-inch cubes.
- 2
In a small saucepan, add brown sugar and whisk in the cold water. Bring this is a boil on medium-high heat and reduce to low heat to reduce and thicken into a thick syrup. The syrup will be ready when it can coat the back of a spoon.
- 3
Prepare four tall drink glasses and add 4 ice cubes into each one.
- 4
Spoon about 1/4 cup pandan jelly cubes into each glass.
- 5
Then pour 1 tbsp of the syrup along the wall of each drink glass with a spoon.
- 6
Pour 1 cup milk into glass glass. Mix and enjoy cold!
