Ingredients

Quantities are shown as originally provided.

  • 300 g Chicken Breast (boneless and cut into thin strips)
  • 200 g Broccoli (florets)
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper (thinly sliced)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tsp Ginger (fresh and grated)
  • 1 tsp Corn Starch
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • Salt (adjust to taste)
  • Black Pepper (adjust to taste)
  • Cooked rice or Noodles (for serving)

Instructions

  1. 1

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, corn-starch, sugar, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Set this sauce aside.

  2. 2

Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.

  3. 3

Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

  4. 4

Add the chicken strips and cook for 4-5 minutes until they are no longer pink and have started to brown.

  5. 5

Add the broccoli florets and sliced red bell pepper to the pan. Stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

  6. 6

Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables in the pan. Stir well to coat everything evenly. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the ingredients.

  7. 7

Taste and adjust the seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.

  8. 8

Serve the chicken stir fry hot over cooked rice or noodles.
