Southern Chocolate Gravy and Biscuits

Ingredients

- ⅓ cup (39.33g) cocoa
- 3 tablespoons (30g) all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup (150g) granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon (2.5g) salt
- 1 12-ounce evaporated milk
- 2 tablespoons (28g) unsalted butter, (softened)
- 2 teaspoons (8.4g) vanilla extract

In a medium bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, and salt until fully mixed.

Slowly stir in the evaporated milk into the flour mixture until fully combined.

Pour into a medium saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring frequently. As soon as it boils, reduce the heat and continue cooking until it's smooth and thick like a gravy, about 7 to 10 minutes.
