Turmeric Stir Fry Shrimps
This turmeric stir fry shrimp recipe is the most basic and common stir fry in my homeland country Malaysia. It's one of the dish that many learnt to make when they start cooking, me included. Though it's very simple, it's very delicious and that's why it's everyone's favourite.

Ingredients
Quantities are shown as originally provided.
- 10.5 oz shrimps ((300 gr), peeled & deveined)
- 2 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 lemongrass (, bruised)
- 1/2 onion (, thinly sliced)
- 5 garlic cloves (, minced)
- 1.8 oz green beans ((50 gr), sliced diagonally)
- 1 red chili (, sliced)
- 1/4 tsp sugar
- salt to taste
Instructions

Add shrimps and turmeric powder into a bowl and mix well. Set aside.

Heat some oil in a pan on medium high heat. Add in lemongrass, onion, garlic, some salt and cook until the onion are soft. Then add in green beans and sugar. Continue cooking until the green beans turn slightly soft.

Now add in shrimps, chili and some salt to taste. Mix well and continue cooking until the shrimps are fully cooked. Serve immediately with some white rice. Enjoy!
