Ingredients
- 1+1/2 cup (190g) all-purpose flour
- 1+1/4 cup (248g) granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 stick (113g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 (21-ounce) can of cherry pie filling
- Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, for serving, optional
Instructions
- 1
Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- 2
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and melted butter. Scrape the batter into the baking dish. Smooth the top with a spatula if needed.
- 3
Spoon the cherry pie filling over the batter. Leave some spots bare and the edges bare so the cobbler base can rise up around the cherry filling.
- 4
Bake until the edges are golden, 35 to 40 minutes. Scoop onto plates and serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if desired. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat before serving. Love the recipe? Leave us stars and a comment below!
