Ingredients

Quantities are shown as originally provided.

  • 1/3 cup dijon mustard
  • 3 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 2 pounds chicken wings (tips removed, and drumettes separated (about 20-24 wings))
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil (or olive oil)
  • salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. 2

Use a paper towel to remove any moisture from the chicken wings.

  3. 3

In a large mixing bowl, toss the wings with the oil, salt and pepper.

  4. 4

Layer a piece of parchment paper on a baking sheet then place a wire rack on top. Spread out the wings on a single layer on the wire rack.

  5. 5

Bake for 45-50 minutes or until crispy.

  6. 6

While the wings are cooking, make the sauce. Add the dijon mustard, honey, apple cider vinegar, and hot sauce to a bowl and stir until well combined.

  7. 7

Remove wings from the oven. Toss the wings in the sauce and place them back in the oven on the baking sheet and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
