  • 2 tablespoons fruit juice (such as pomegranate juice or orange juice, or water or milk, as needed)
  • 1 cup yogurt (or labneh or Greek yogurt)
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 cup fresh fruit (berries, peaches, cherries (or frozen))
  • 1 banana (frozen (optional))
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flax seeds
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey
  • More fruit, such as pomegranate seeds, to garnish

Instructions

  1. 1

In a strong blender, add the fruit juice if using, yogurt, protein powder, and ice cubes. Blend until smooth.

  2. 2

Add the fresh and/or frozen fruit, banana, seeds, and honey. Blend until smooth. If the smoothie is too thin, add more protein powder. If it is too thick, add juice, water, milk or other liquid one tablespoon at a time until your desired consistency is achieved.
