  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. 1

  2. 2

Season generously with salt and black pepper on all sides.

  3. 3

Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil and let it get hot.

  4. 4

Place the steak cubes in a single layer in the skillet. Don’t overcrowd

  5. 5

    cook in batches if necessary.

  6. 6

Sear each side for 2-3 minutes until a brown crust forms. Remove the steak bites and set them aside.

  7. 7

In that same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Allow it to melt.

  8. 8

Add in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds or until fragrant. Keep an eye on it though so that you do not burn the garlic.

  9. 9

Place the bites back in the skillet and toss with the garlic butter sauce.

  10. 10

Heat for 1-2 more minutes to warm through.

  11. 11

Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
