Ingredients
Quantities are shown as originally provided.
- 800 g Chicken Wings
- 3 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 3 cloves Garlic (Minced)
- 1 tsp Ginger (Minced)
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Chilli Flakes (Adjust to taste)
- Coriander
Instructions
- 1
In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, minced ginger, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- 2
Place the chicken wings in a resealable plastic bag or a bowl and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the wings are well coated.
- 3
Seal the bag or cover the bowl and let the wings marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes, or up to 30 minutes for more flavour.
- 4
Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F).
- 5
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- 6
Arrange the marinated chicken wings on the baking sheet in a single layer, leaving space between each wing.
- 7
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until they are cooked through and crispy. You can flip them halfway through the cooking time for even browning.
- 8
Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes.
- 9
Garnish the wings with fresh cilantro or sesame seeds for added flavour and presentation.
- 10
Serve the honey garlic chicken wings hot as an appetizer or a main dish, accompanied by your favourite dipping sauce.
