Ingredients
Quantities are shown as originally provided.
- 1 Lbs. ground beef
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 4 slices bacon
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 tomato slices
- 1 sliced pickle.
Instructions
- 1
First, wash the ground meat with water to remove any impurities and bacteria. Drain the water out of the meat now. Ensure there is no residual water in the meat (otherwise, it will not hold shape nor be firm
- 2
Now, add three eggs to the washed ground beef and beat it well with a mixer
- 3
Add salt, mayonnaise, mustard, and spices to this mixture now
- 4
Put the mixture in the fridge for at least thirty minutes. The salt that is added will help the meat to keep its shape
- 5
Make four equally sized balls out of the above mixture and then flatten them with your hand to make a patty
- 6
Now take a stick blender, put some ice cubes in it and blend it till coarsely mashed/crushed. Use this as bread crumbs to coat the patties now
- 7
Take four slices of bacon and wrap them around each patty individually so that when you grill, it gets cooked from both sides. You can use toothpicks to hold them together at their ends if required
- 8
Heat the griller and keep the temperature setting medium to high. When the grill is hot, put in a single patty and leave it there for two minutes. After this time, flip it over with a spatula and grill again for two more minutes
- 9
Cover the grill with your hand so that the grease gets collected and doesn't get burnt by itself
- 10
Next is to add 2 slices of tomato and one slice of onion for garnishing, then grill for another minute until the tomato gets charred, or add a thin line of ketchup or mayonnaise if you want to dress your burger now. Take it off the grill and let it cool
- 11
Now make 4 slices of bread to sandwich your burger with, butter the bread, and set it aside while you wait for the heat of the grille to cool down a bit
- 12
Here, we are going to assemble our burger by putting a patty on each slice of bread, adding mayo mayonnaise dressing and lettuce leaves, adding another slice of bread on top, and then garnishing it with strips of onion and tomato by spreading mayo on top. Serve right away.
