Ingredients

12
  • 2+2/3 cup bread flour (, use spoon and level method (340 g))
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2+1/4 tsp instant yeast ((7 g))
  • 1 large egg (, room temperature)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 cup butter ((60 g), melted)
  • 2/3 cup warm water ((160 ml))
  • 1 cup drained natural tuna ((180 g))
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley (, with some extra to sprinkle on top)
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 small onion (, diced)
  • 1+1/2 cup shredded mozzarella ((140 g))
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter (, softened)

Instructions

  1. 1

Add all ingredients into the stand mixer bowl. Knead for 10 minutes. The dough will be on the softer side. Cover with cling film and rise the dough until double its size.

  2. 2

Mix all ingredients except for cheese and softened butter. Set aside.

  3. 3

Prepare 2 parchment papers that just fit the base and run extra high on 2 sides. Line the air fryer basket with 1 parchment paper, set aside the other one for later.

  4. 4

Roll the dough on a floured working surface into a 14 1/2 inch (35 cm) square. Spread softened butter on it, leaving 1 inch at one side. Spoon and spread the filling evenly on top. Sprinkle cheese.

  5. 5

Roll the dough tightly and cut into 12 equal pieces. Place in the air fryer basket. Cover with cling film. Leave until the rolls rise double their size.

  6. 6

Sprinkle some more parsely on top. Use "Air fryer" setting, set the temperature to 360ºF (180ºC) and cook for 12 minutes. Grab the parchment paper on the sides, lift and place the rolls on a rack. Place the other parchment paper on top and flip (like you would flip a cake).

  7. 7

Remove the parchment paper that sticks to the raw bottom of the rolls, be gentle. Again, grab the sides, place the rolls back in the air fryer basket and continue to cook for another 10 minutes.

  8. 8

Flip the rolls back and serve!
