- 2 Cuban sandwich loaves
- 300 g beef, cut into large cubes
- 1 white onion
- 2 beef salami slices
- 1 garlic clove
- 8 slices of Swiss Cheese
- Butter
- Vegetable oil
- 4 large dill pickles
- 2 tablespoons of yellow mustard
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper

Cut the beef into large cubes. Season with your favorite spices and salt.

In a large pot, add oil. Then add chopped onion and saute for 3 - 4 minutes. Then add grated garlic. Saute for another minute.

Add beef and brown well on all sides. Then add 3 cups of water and bring to boil. Then lower the heat and cover. Allow the beef to cook slowly and soften well.

After the beef is cooked, shred it. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and mustard.

Trim off both ends of Cuban loaves then half them. Then cut lengthwise. If you don't have Cuban bread, French or Italian bread can be substituted.

Apply the mustard and mayonnaise on both sides.

Put a layer of cheese and beef salami slices on it.

Add a layer of shredded beef and as the last layer add the pickled slices.

Press the second half of the bread on the layers of cheese, salami, and beef.

Pour a little oil on the bottom of a frying pan and grill both sides of the sandwich. If you have a sandwich maker, you can use it. Serve the sandwich with your favorite sauces and potato chips.
