Steak Fajitas Marinade In a large bowl or ziplock bag, add flank steak, olive oil, garlic, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper. Mix well together and then set aside for at least 30 minutes. The longer you marinade this the tastier it will be. Cooking the Steak Fajitas Heat a cast iron or large skillet over medium high heat. Add bell peppers, onions, salt and pepper as desired, in to the skillet and cook until tender but not soft. The onions will be slightly translucent. Remove from heat and set aside, and add steak to skillet. With a spatula or cooking utensil make sure to cook everything evenly on one side and then the other. As soon as it browns on both sides, add the bell peppers and onions back in to the skillet and sauté everything together. Remove everything from heat and serve with tortillas, rice, or any other delicious sides you may want to serve it with!
