Ingredients

2
  • 230 g ribeye steak
  • 1-2 servings cooked white rice
  • 1/4 cup frozen vegetables
  • 1 tbsp satay paste
  • 1/2 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Chopped green onions
  • 1 tbsp satay paste
  • 1/2 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch + 1/2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper powder

Instructions

  1. 1

In a bowl, combine sliced beef with satay paste, light soy sauce, cornstarch with water, sugar, and white pepper powder. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  2. 2

Heat a wok or large pan over high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until 80% cooked. Set aside.

  3. 3

In the same wok, add a little oil and pour in the beaten egg. Stir-fry for a few seconds, then add cooked rice. Stir-fry for a couple of minutes until combined.

  4. 4

Add the frozen vegetables and stir-fry until heated. Then, add the dark soy sauce, a pinch of white pepper, and the satay paste. Stir everything together until evenly coated.

  5. 5

Combine everything: Return the beef and scrambled egg to the wok. Toss everything together, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until well combined.

  6. 6

Finish with green onions: Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.
