- 1 pound steak, sliced
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 5 garlic cloves, crushed and roughly chopped
- 1 tbsp of cooking oil/fat
- 8 oz of broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup of broth or water
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- 1
Combine soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, rice vinegar, and sugar and beef in a large bowl or zip lock bag. If you are about to cook it, let it marinade at the very least 15-30 minutes. If you are making this ahead, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes before cooking.
- 2
In a large wok or cooking pan, add cooking oil and heat on high heat. Add beef and garlic and stir fry until mostly browned. Remove from heat and set aside.
- 3
Add some additional oil if the pan is too dry. Add broccoli florets and stir fry for a minute. Then add broth or water, and cover for about a minute or two. Allow it to cook until your desired tenderness.
- 4
Uncover and add the beef back to the wok/pan, add oyster sauce and salt to taste, and stir fry for just on more minute and transfer to plate.

Serve! I recommend with some rice ?
