- ¾ cup milk (or plain oat milk for a dairy-free option)
- 4 medium strawberries (with stems removed)
- 2.5 tablespoon white granulated sugar (or maple syrup or cane sugar)
- 6 ice cubes (optional)

In a tall glass, add chopped strawberries and white granulated sugar and crush them with a muddler until they’re puréed. If you don't have a muddler, blend the strawberries and sugar in a blender or food processor or finely chop the berries with a knife and transfer to the drinking glass.

Optional: add ice cubes on top of the strawberry purée if you want it colder.

Pour cold milk over the puréed strawberry mixture and ice and mix to enjoy!
