Ingredients

Quantities are shown as originally provided.

  • 1 Tbsp cooking oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (peeled and finely chopped/grated)
  • 1 inch ginger (peeled and finely chopped/grated)
  • 1 lb broccoli florets (cut into equal pieces)
  • 1 small carrots (peeled and thinly sliced)
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken stock
  • 6 oz large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp oyster sauce
  • 3 Tbsp dried goji berries (rinse with clean water)
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch + 2 Tbsp water

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat a large wok/skillet with lid over high heat. Add cooking oil and swirl to coat the base of the wok/skillet. Add in garlic and stir fry for about 10 seconds. Add broccoli florets, carrots, shrimp, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and stir fry for about 10 seconds. Pour in the chicken stock and add goji berries. Bring it to a boil and then cover the lid to let it steam about 2 minutes. Uncover the lid. The broccoli should be tender, but not mushy and still has that bright green color

  2. 2

Give the cornstarch solution a good stir and then gradually pour it in while stirring at the same time. The gravy will thicken and bubbling. Transfer to the serving platter and serve immediately
