Soy Sauce Salmon
A super simple soy sauce salmon that you can whip up in less than 30 minutes.

Ingredients
Quantities are shown as originally provided.
- 1 ½ lb salmon (cut into 2 inch pieces)
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- ½ cup neutral oil
- 1 ½ tbsp neutral oil
- 1 large shallot (minced)
- 5 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp + 1 tsp light brown sugar
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp lemon juice

Season the salmon with salt and pepper.

Heat 1/2 cup oil over high heat.

Add the salmon and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Remove salmon from the heat and set aside.

Next the sauce! Add the rest of the olive oil to the pan with the shallot, garlic, brown sugar, soy sauce, and lemon juice.

Cook sauce for 1-2 minutes to reduce. Pour sauce over the salmon.
