- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons Irish cream liqueur ((such as Bailey's))
- 2 tablespoons hazelnut liqueur ((such as Frangelico))
- chocolate curls
Instructions
- 1
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F, and mist a 9 by 9-inch pan with non-stick spray. Line with parchment.
- 2
Place the sugar, butter, cocoa, and salt in a large microwave-safe bowl, and microwave in one-minute increments, stirring, until the butter is completely melted and the mixture feels very warm to the touch.
- 3
Add the eggs, one at a time, stirring after each addition.
- 4
Stir in the flour.
- 5
Stir in the vanilla.
- 6
Transfer the batter to the prepared pan, and bake for 45-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs.
- 7
Cool completely in the pan, then frost, transfer to a cutting board to cut into squares, and garnish with chocolate curls (if using).
- 8
Place the cream cheese and butter in a large mixing bowl, and mix on medium speed until smooth.
- 9
Add the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, mixing until smooth.
- 10
When all the powdered sugar has been added, turn the speed up to medium-high and beat for one or two minutes, or until fluffy.
- 11
Stir in the Irish cream and hazelnut liqueurs.
