Garlic Edamame
This garlic edamame recipe is inspired by one of my favorite sushi spots, Wild Wasabi Signature in Bellevue! It's a flavorful and bright contrast to the traditional edamame served at most sushi restaurants, where it's steamed or boiled and topped with salt. These garlic edamame are tossed in a buttery and garlicky ponzu sauce that

Ingredients
Quantities are shown as originally provided.
- 9 oz Frozen Edamame
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1 tbsp Ponzu Sauce
- 1 tsp Sugar
- Flakey Salt

In a pot of boiling salted water, cook edamame pods for 1-2 minutes. Don't cook them all the way through, as they'll finish cooking in the frying pan

Add butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant in a pan on medium heat. Add ponzu sauce and sugar, and sauté for another minute

Add edamame, and toss in sauce, making sure each pod is well coated

Serve in a plate or bowl and garnish with flakey salt
