Ingredients

- 10 mozzarella string cheese
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup fine breadcrumbs
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- cooking oil spray
- marinara sauce

First, cut the mozzarella sticks in half.

Next, gather 3 shallow bowls.

When ready, dip each mozzarella cheese stick into the flour to coat, then into the milk/cornstarch, and finally in the breadcrumbs. Makes sure to pat to coat the cheese stick.

Next, place the sticks on a baking sheet and freeze at least 30 minutes or up to 2 months.

Once well chilled, preheat the air fryer to 390°F.

Next, generously spray the mozzarella sticks with oil or cooking spray and then place in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until crispy.
