Vanilla Boba Milk Tea - Iced or Hot

Ingredients
- 1 bag tea (black, green, oolong, etc)
- 1/2 cup quick-cooking tapioca pearls
- 2 tbsp sugar (brown, white, granulated)
- 3 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup milk (I used unsweetened oat milk)
- 1 handful ice cubes (for serving)

Prepare tea by adding 1 tea bag (or 2 tsp of loose leaf tea) to 1 cup (235ml) of boiled water.

Steep for 5 minutes & then let cool down completely.

Add tapioca pearls to a small saucepan filled with boiling hot water. Simmer for 3-5 minutes. Important - Read the instructions on your tapioca pearls packaging. Cooking times vary per brand!

Reserve 2 tablespoons of water and drain the rest.

Add sugar and the reserved water to the cooked boba pearls. Stir well and set aside.

Fill two tall glasses with ice. Add boba pearls. Then add vanilla extract on top.
