- 50 g Vermicelli
- 1 tsp Basil Seeds
- 300 ml Milk (cold)
- 4 tsp Rose Syrup
- 1 Scoop Ice Cream (vanilla)

Add water into a saucepan and bring to a gentle boil before adding the vermicelli – there are different types of vermicelli so ensure that the ones you use are suitable for falooda

Allow the vermicelli to gently simmer for 3 minutes then drain and rinse with cold water before setting aside

In a small add the basil seeds to cold water and set aside for at least 10 minutes

In another small bowl add the rose syrup to the cold milk and mix until the rose syrup has completely dissolved

Fill a tablespoon with rose syrup then hold the tablespoon at an angle against the edge of the glass and allow the syrup to drip slowly as you turn the glass – this step is optional and for decorative purposes

Add the basil seed mixture into the glass followed by the vermicelli – depending on your personal preference you can alter the amounts of basil seeds and vermicelli for each glass.

Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and then pour the rose syrup mixture until the glass is filled before repeat with the remaining ingredients
