  • 2 cups almonds
  • 1/4 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 350F (or 175C).

  2. 2

Spread out your almonds in a single layer on a sheet pan and roast them for about 10 minutes.

  3. 3

Allow them to cool completely, then add the roasted almonds to a blender.

  4. 4

Blend them for several minutes until they have a very smooth and creamy consistency.

  5. 5

Be sure to scrape down the sides of the blender intermittently to help it all come together.

  6. 6

Add in your coconut oil and blend some more.

  7. 7

Add your salt at the end and adjust to your taste.

  8. 8

If you want to add in something else right at the end, feel free to do so.

  9. 9

    Refrigerate in a glass jar.
