How to make almond butter in a blender
Tired of buying expensive (and sometimes bland) almond butter from a grocery store? Learn how to make almond butter at home using just a blender and 3 ingredients!

Ingredients
Quantities are shown as originally provided.
- 2 cups almonds
- 1/4 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1 tbsp coconut oil

Preheat your oven to 350F (or 175C).

Spread out your almonds in a single layer on a sheet pan and roast them for about 10 minutes.

Allow them to cool completely, then add the roasted almonds to a blender.

Blend them for several minutes until they have a very smooth and creamy consistency.

Be sure to scrape down the sides of the blender intermittently to help it all come together.

Add in your coconut oil and blend some more.

Add your salt at the end and adjust to your taste.

If you want to add in something else right at the end, feel free to do so.
