Ingredients

- 1/2 cup (111g) salted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup (115g) granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 15.5 oz box (432g) yellow cake mix
- 3/4 cup (115g) all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Prep by preheating the oven to 350° F and lining a 9x9 pan with parchment paper (set aside).

In the bowl of a stand mixer or with an electric hand mixer, cream together the butter and granulated sugar.

Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing until well combined.

Add the yellow cake mix and flour to the bowl and mix until a soft dough forms.

Mix in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

Lightly press the dough into your prepared baking pan, leaving the tops rough for the finished texture.

Bake at 350° F for 25-30 minutes, the edges and top will start to turn golden brown when they are ready to come out of the oven.
