Ingredients
Quantities are shown as originally provided.
- Button Mushroom - 200 gms / 1 packet
- Balsamic Vinegar - 3 tbsp
- Light Soy sauce / Red Wine / White wine - 2 tbsp
- Garlic - 5 cloves
- Cane sugar or Brown Sugar - 1 tsp
- Olive oil - 2 tbsp
- Salt - to taste
- Black Pepper - to taste

Quarter or Halve the button mushrooms depending on their size. If they happen to be huge, then slice them and set aside.

Heat a pan with olive oil.

When warm, add thinly slivered garlic cloves and saute over low flame till they soften. No need to change color.

Add mushrooms and saute for 2 to 3 mins till they soften and shrink in size.

Add balsamic vinegar, light soy sauce OR wine and cook for another 2 mins over high flame.

Add salt, pepper, cane sugar and mix well.

Switch off stove and let it rest in the heat of the pan for the sauce to thicken and coat well.
