Char Siu Wings / Cánh Gà Xá Xíu
Chicken wings are probably my favorite thing on this planet. Chinese BBQ is also up there as an all-time favorite. Combine the two, and you have possibly the greatest creation in Char siu chicken wings. We're using the same marinade as my standard xá xíu recipe, and we're going to let the wings marinate overnight

Ingredients
Quantities are shown as originally provided.
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1 tsp five spice powder
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 5 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp fermented red bean curd sauce
- 1 cube red fermented bean curd
- 1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1/2 tsp white pepper
- 1 tbsp fish sauce (optional)
- red dye (optional)
- Sesame seeds
- Green onions

Combine five spice powder, garlic powder, brown sugar, oyster sauce, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, fermented red bean curd cube and sauce, Shaoxing wine, oil, and white pepper. Optionally add fish sauce and red dye

Marinade chicken overnight

Add to air fryer in a single layer, air fry at 350 degrees for 16-18 minutes, flipping halfway in between

Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions
