Ingredients

Quantities are shown as originally provided.

  • 4 tbsp (57g butter, softened
  • 8 oz (226g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (125g) powdered sugar
  • 2 3.4oz (96g) packages vanilla instant pudding
  • 3½ cups (840g) cold milk
  • 2¼ cups (540ml) heavy whipping cream, whipped to stiff peaks ((or 1 12oz container Cool Whip, thawed))
  • 2 pkgs gluten free chocolate sandwich cookies
  • gluten free gummy worms, optional

Instructions

  1. 1

In a large bowl, beat together, butter, cream cheese, and powered sugar until smooth. In another bowl, mix vanilla pudding, cold milk, and whipped cream (or Cool Whip) until smooth; fold the two mixtures together into one bowl and set aside.

  2. 2

Grind cookies in a food processor (or in a large ziptop bag using a rolling pin).

  3. 3

Layer the ingredients in the flower pot (or a 9 by 13-inch baking dish), beginning and ending with the cookie crumbs. Cover and refrigerate dessert overnight.

  4. 4

When ready to serve, add gummy worms to the top, as well as an artificial flower (poke a straw through the dessert and then insert flower stem into the straw–see above pictures for guidance), if desired. Serve with a clean, never-before-used trowel, if desired.
