Ingredients
Quantities are shown as originally provided.
- 1 cup water
- 2 teaspoons Red Miso Paste (Akamiso)
- 10 - 13 Somen noodles approx. 1/3 of a bundle
- Square piece of tofu cut into small squares
- 1/2 teaspoon dried cut Wakame (seaweed)
- 1/2 teaspoon Dashi powder (bonito flavouring)
Instructions

In a saucepan, bring some water to a boil.

Add Wakame and boil until the seaweed turns into small squares.

Drain the water and rinse with cold tap water.

Add 1/2 cup of water to the saucepan and bring to a boil.

Once the water begins to boil, add Somen noodles (or tofu) and cook for approximately 2 minutes

Pour in the miso paste and add Dashi powder.

Stir well over low heat for approximately 1-2 minutes.

Serve immediately.
