Ingredients

  • 500 g Fish (Cod, cut into bite-sized chunks)
  • 100 g Plain Flour
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 large Eggs (Beaten)
  • 150 g Breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable Oil (For fying)

Instructions

  1. 1

In a mixing bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.

  2. 2

Beat eggs in a separate bowl.

  3. 3

Put breadcrumbs in a third bowl.

  4. 4

Coat each piece of fish with the flour mixture, then dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs, pressing lightly to help the coating adhere.

  5. 5

Heat a large frying pan over medium-high heat and add enough oil to cover the base.

  6. 6

Once the oil is hot, fry the fish nuggets in batches for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn golden brown and crispy.

  7. 7

Use a slotted spoon to transfer the cooked fish nuggets to a plate lined with paper towels to remove excess oil.

  8. 8

Serve hot with tartar sauce or your preferred dipping sauce.
