Jollibee Jolly Spaghetti Dupe

I'm a HUGE fan of Jollibee's. There's something magical about biting into their spicy fried chicken, drowning it in gravy, and eating it with a side of hot rice. It hits every comfort button for me all at once. But honestly, my favorite item on their menu isn't the chicken. It's actually the Jolly Spaghetti!

  • 1 lb Spaghetti Noodles
  • Water
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 lb Ground Beef
  • 1/2 lb Ground Pork
  • 4 Filipino Red Hot Dogs
  • 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 Yellow Onion
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 15 oz Tomato Sauce
  • 1 cup Jufran Banana Ketchup
  • 1 cup Pasta Water
  • 1 tbsp Beef Bouillon
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Condensed Milk
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • Black Pepper To Taste
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Spaghetti:

  2. 2

Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until fully tender, not al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining. Toss noodles with a small splash of oil to prevent sticking and set aside

  3. 3

    Make the Sauce:

  4. 4

Slice Filipino red hot dogs on a slight bias. Heat a large deep pan over medium-high heat and add oil. Sear hot dogs for 1 to 2 minutes until lightly browned. Remove and set aside.

  5. 5

Heat a large deep pan over medium-high heat and add oil. Add diced onions and minced garlic. Sauté for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant. Add ground beef and ground pork, breaking up any clumps. Cook until no longer pink and most liquid has cooked off. Stir in tomato paste and cook for 1 minute.

  6. 6

Add tomato sauce, banana ketchup, and reserved pasta water. Add Filipino red hot dogs and season with beef bouillon and soy sauce. Stir in condensed milk and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover slightly, and simmer for 30 to 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add black pepper and make any final adjustments to the seasonings

  7. 7

    Serve:

  8. 8

Add spaghetti to a plate and top generously with sauce, making sure to include hot dogs and meat. Finish with shredded cheddar cheese and serve hot.
