- 1/2 Onion, Grated
- 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
- 2 tbsp Oyster Sauce

- 2 tbsp Honey
- 1/2 tbsp MSG
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tbsp Oil

Instructions

Process the Short Ribs:
- 2
Start by giving the short ribs a quick soak. Place the ribs in a large bowl and cover with cold tap water. Let them soak for about 10 minutes to help loosen and remove any bone fragments or debris that may have been left over from the cutting process. After soaking, rinse the ribs thoroughly under running water and drain well

Make the Marinade:
- 4
Transfer the rinsed short ribs to a mixing bowl. Add the grated onion, minced garlic, oyster sauce, soy sauce, dark soy sauce, honey, MSG, black pepper, and oil. Mix everything together thoroughly until the ribs are evenly coated in the marinade. Cover the bowl and let the ribs marinate for at least one hour. For the best flavor and texture, marinate them overnight in the refrigerator

Air Fry the Short Ribs:
- 6
Preheat the air-fryer to 400F and spray the grate down with oil

After air-frying, let the short ribs rest for a few minutes. Then cut between the bones to separate each piece. Serve them on a platter as a flavorful appetizer, or enjoy them with a bowl of steamed rice as a hearty main course. Enjoy!
