- 1 bunch asparagus
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp chili flakes
- 2 cloves garlic
- salt and pepper to taste

Wash asparagus and dry on a kitchen towel. Then, cut asparagus stalks into 3 parts.

Add oil to a pan and let warm up a little over medium heat.

Add in the cut asparagus and grate the garlic on top of the asparagus. Mix the grated garlic with asparagus.

Add in the maple syrup and chili flakes and cover pan. Let cook for 2 minutes.

Uncover and let cook for about 1-2 minutes, increasing the flame/heat a little so liquid evaporates just a little. When time is up (the liquid should not evaporate entirely) remove from heat.

Season with salt and pepper and enjoy warm!
