- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 tsp baking powder

In the bowl of a stand mixer or with an electric hand mixer, cream together the butter and brown sugar until light in color and fluffy in texture.
