Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars
Ooey, gooey, chocolate chip cookie bars with crispy edges and perfect middles. They are a hit with everyone!

Ingredients
- 12 tbsp unsalted butter (melted, see recipe notes, 170 grams)
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed, 220 grams)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (100 grams)
- 2 large eggs (100 grams)
- 2 tsp vanilla extract (8 grams)
- 2 cup all-purpose flour (260 grams)
- 1 tsp salt (7 grams)
- 1 tsp baking soda (5 grams)
- 2 cup chocolate chips (semisweet are my favorite, 340 grams)

Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Prepare a 9 by 13 metal pan, lining it with parchment paper.

In a microwave-safe mixing bowl, melt the butter. Add brown sugar and granulated sugar. Whisk together the sugars and melted butter until combined. Add eggs and vanilla extract. Mix until the ingredients are fully incorporated.

To a small bowl, mix together the flour, salt and baking soda. Fluff together with a fork until dispersed. Add the flour mixture to the center of the butter/sugar mixture and mix until combined. Pour in the chocolate chips and mix. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.

Bake about 25-30 minutes until crispy around the edges but still a little gooey in the middle. Let sit for 20-30 minutes in the pan before lifting out with the parchment paper. Cool before cutting into bars. Enjoy!
