Ingredients
Quantities are shown as originally provided.
- 3 slices of bread (or 2 slices of thick-cut bread)
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp milk (or evaporated milk)
- Peanut butter (to taste)
- Cooking oil (enough to cover an inch of your pan)
- 1 knob of butter
- Drizzle of honey/ maple syrup/ condensed milk
Instructions

Spread peanut butter on two slices of bread, sandwich them together and slice off the crusts.

In a shallow bowl, thoroughly beat together the eggs and milk.

Dip the bread into the egg mixture and soak each side for around 5 seconds.

Add an inch layer of oil into a pan. On medium-high heat, first fry the edges of the toast, then fry each side for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown [To pan-fry: Add 1 tbsp of butter to the pan and fry each side for 2-3 minutes on medium-low heat].

Serve with a knob of butter and drizzle with honey, maple syrup or condensed milk. Enjoy!
