Honey BBQ Chicken Wings
These honey BBQ chicken wings are juicy, tender, and flavourful. Coated in a generous blend of spices then fried until delicious crispy before being lathered in the best homemade honey BBQ sauce ever!

- 500 g Chicken Wings
- 1 tsp Chilli Powder
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Salt (adjust to taste )
- 1 tsp Black Pepper (adjust to taste )
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Eggs
- 1 tbsp Cornflour
- 1 tbsp Plain Flour
- 2 tbsp BBQ Sauce
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tbsp Tomato Ketchup

In a bowl add the chilli powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, garlic powder and egg to the chicken wings then mix to combine and allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes

Add the cornflour and plain flour then mix again and allow to marinate for a further 30 minutes

When ready to fry heat a pan with oil for deep frying until medium-hot ensuring that the oil is not too hot

Shake off any excess flour on the chicken then add the wings into the fryer - there should be tiny bubbles surrounding them – and allow the wings to cook undisturbed for 6-8 minutes until golden brown before flipping and allowing to cook for another 6-8 minutes until golden brown on the other side

In a pan add the barbecue sauce, honey and tomato ketchup then mix on low heat until fully combined

Add the fried chicken wings and coat the sauce onto the wings evenly

Serve immediately alongside crispy fries and a green salad then enjoy!
