- 2 pounds chicken wings or drummers
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons hoisin
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Nakano Natural Rice Vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon ginger (minced)
- 1 tablespoon chili paste (optional)
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil

Pre-heat oven to 425 and line a baking sheet with foil.

Place chicken wings in a large bowl and pat dry with a paper towel. Toss to coat with oil, salt, and pepper then place in a single layer on a prepared baking sheet. Bake chicken wings until golden brown and crispy, about 25-30 minutes.

While the chicken is baking, prepare the glaze: In a small pot over high heat combine the hoisin, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, sambal oelek, and sesame oil. Bring up to a simmer then lower the heat. Heat on low until wings are done cooking.
