Instant Noodle Stir-Fry with Beef / Mi Goi Xao Bo
My mom's go-to school lunch to make me was this instant noodle stir-fry. Filled with cheap ramen and an inexpensive cut of beef!

Ingredients
Quantities are shown as originally provided.
- 2 packages Instant Noodles
- 1 head Broccoli
- 1/2 Onion
- 1 lb Eye of Round Beef
- 1/4 cup Oil
- 1 tbsp Baking Soda
- 2 tbsp Water
- 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Fish Sauce
- 1 tsp MSG
- 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1 tbsp Oil
- Green Onion

Wash and chop broccoli into bite-size pieces. Cut the onion into strips and chop the green onions. Blanch the instant noodles, drain and rinse them with cold water, then put aside

Thinly slice beef and then combine with baking soda and water to tenderize. Let that sit for 5 minutes

To make the sauce, combine oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, fish sauce, MSG, minced garlic, water, and oil in a bowl

Add oil to a pan and fry the beef until golden brown. Remove excess oil and clean pan

Add sauce to the hot pan, and stir fry broccoli, cooking halfway. Add in cooked noodles, beef, and onions. Let the sauce simmer and reduce

Serve in a bowl and garnish with green onions
