air fryer chicken wings
Air fryer chicken wings made with just 4 ingredients and an air fryer. These crispy salt and pepper air-fried wings took me less than 25 minutes with only a few teaspoons of oil.

Ingredients
- 500 g whole chicken wings
- 1 tbsp oil(olive oil or vegetable oil)
- 1/2 a teaspoon of salt
- 1/2-1 tsp black pepper

Split the chicken wing into flats and, drummettes discard the wingtip.

Pat dry the wings and drummettes and place them in a bowl.

Add salt(1/2 tsp), and pepper(1/2-1 tsp). Toss and combine well.

Cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes.

Preheat your air fryer to 400°F(200C) for 3-5minutes. (Small air fryer for 3 minutes, larger air fryer for 5 minutes).

Place the wings and drummettes without crowding the basket, leaving space for the hot air to circulate.

Bake the wings for 10 minutes on one side.

Once the first 10 minutes are over, use a tong to turn them over and bake for another 10 minutes.

Check on your air-fried wings, if you feel they need to be a little more crispy then shake the basket to move the wings around and cook them for another extra 2-3 minutes.

Remove and toss them with extra seasoning and serve.
