Ingredients
Quantities are shown as originally provided.
- 1 Can lychees
- 16 Blueberries or fresh cranberries
- 1-2 Tablespoons Jam, honey, or syrup (Substitute: raspberry or strawberry jam)
- 1 teaspoon Red food coloring
Instructions
- 1
Roll the fresh or dried fruit in the syrup, jam or honey- you want to get the fruit sticky!
- 2
Brush some of that honey, jam or syrup inside the cavity of the lychee.
- 3
Stuff the lychee cavity with the fruit of your choice, making sure to press (gently) onto the jam. Note: choose unbroken lychees- some have holes on the other side too, which the fruit can fall out of! (Not good.)

Optional Step: For extra scary Halloween eyes, use red food coloring or raspberry jam to draw streaks around the hole to mimic bleeding eyes. Note: You can do this with a chopstick, the tines of a fork or a small brush.
