Ingredients

  • 750 gram chicken meat cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 5 shallots chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ginger crushed
  • 4 tablespoons thick soy sauce
  • 1 large red onion
  • 1 lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 red pepper thinly sliced for garnish
  • coriander leaves chopped for garnish

Instructions

    Marinate the chicken with salt and turmeric powder. Refrigerate overnight in an airtight container.

    Heat oil in a pan and add garlic and ginger. Stir-fry until fragrant.

    Add the soy sauce and when sizzling, add the marinated chicken pieces in small amounts. Stir-fry until the chicken is nearly cooked.

    Add the onion slices, lime juice, and shallots. Stir-fry for another few minutes.
