- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger crushed
- 1 teaspoon garlic crushed
- 1 teaspoon green chili crushed
- 1/2 cup yoghurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- vegetable oil for basting

Thoroughly clean the chicken. Prick it all over with a knife or fork and make diagonal slits.

Apply a mixture of red chilli powder, salt, and lemon juice all over the chicken. Marinate for 30-45 minutes.

Mix the yogurt with the ginger, garlic, and green chilli paste, and garam masala. Stir well.
