  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger crushed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic crushed
  • 1 teaspoon green chili crushed
  • 1/2 cup yoghurt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • vegetable oil for basting

    Thoroughly clean the chicken. Prick it all over with a knife or fork and make diagonal slits.

    Apply a mixture of red chilli powder, salt, and lemon juice all over the chicken. Marinate for 30-45 minutes.

    Mix the yogurt with the ginger, garlic, and green chilli paste, and garam masala. Stir well.

    Pour the yogurt mixture over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated. Fill the slits with the mixture. Marinate in the refrigerator overnight, covered with plastic wrap
