  • 2 oz Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla Distilled Gin. (Add more or less as preferred)
  • 1 blood orange- freshly squeezed juice- about 2 ounces
  • 1/2 ounce fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce maple syrup
  • 3-4 drops of blood orange bitters
  • 1 kaffir lime leaf. Use fresh leaves or dry lime leaves for this recipe!
  • 10 ice cubes divided

Instructions

  1. 1

Squeeze the juices of blood orange and lime juice. Strain through a filter to get pulp-free juice.

  2. 2

Add kaffir lime leaves to a shaker and muddle for a few seconds to extract the oils for flavor and aroma.

  3. 3

Add the gin, bitters, blood orange, lime juice, maple syrup, and 4-5 pieces of ice to the shaker.

  4. 4

Cover the lid and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Add fresh ice cubes to a cocktail glass or ice-filled wine glass and pour the cocktail into it.

  5. 5

Garnish with a slice of orange or lime, or blood orange wedges. Orange wheel or kaffir leaves. That’s it. Sip and enjoy!
