  • 645 gram mutton
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 cup yoghurt
  • 1 carrot peeled and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoon coriander ground
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 2 red chilies
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil

Instructions

    In a bowl, mix the yogurt, ginger paste, and garlic paste together with a small amount of water to create a marinade. Add the mutton to the marinade and set aside for 50 minutes.

    Cook the marinated meat mixture in a large pot over medium heat until the meat becomes tender.

    In a wide skillet, heat the oil and add the red chilies, chopped onion, and carrot. Add the meat from the marinade and fry on high heat for 8 minutes

    Add the ground coriander, ground cumin, chili powder, and turmeric. Fry on low heat for 2 minutes, then add the remaining marinade

    Continue cooking until the sauce thickens. Serve with rice or naan bread.
