  • 500g beef steak (preferably sirloin or flank), thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. 1

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper

  2. 2

Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade and toss until well coated

  3. 3

Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together

  4. 4

In another bowl, mix lime juice, fish sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, chili flakes, and minced garlic

  5. 5

Stir until the sugar is dissolved, and the ingredients are well combined. Set aside

  6. 6

Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat

  7. 7

Once hot, add the marinated beef slices in a single layer

  8. 8

Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until the beef is cooked to your desired level of doneness

  9. 9

Remove the beef from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
