French toast brioche
This French toast brioche recipe is the perfect dish for lazy weekends when all you want is a nice brunch to start the day! In my recipe I will take you through on how to make the perfect French toast from scratch and how to garnish it so it will be the highlight of you day.

Ingredients
Quantities are shown as originally provided.
- Brioche slices
- 120 g Whole milk (room temp)
- 2 Eggs
- 70 g Unsalted butter
- 30 g Granulated sugar
- Cinnamon, Fruit, Maple syrup (for serving)

Pour room temp milk into a large enough bowl, beat room temp eggs in another bowl. Also prepare a saucepan, butter and sugar

Prepare a baking tray with parchment paper and pre-heat oven to 190C /374F.

Dip bread slices into milk then immediately into the egg. Continue with all the bread slices

Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat and once butter foaming (do not burn it) place bread slices into the saucepan then sprinkle with sugar. Fry for 2 minutes then turn them on the other side, sprinkle with sugar again and fry for another 2 minutes. Your bread slices might need more or less than 2 minutes, make sure you properly caramelize the bread with the sugar on both sides without burning it

Move bread slices onto the baking tray with parchment and bake them for 8-10minutes

Once bread slices are baked, garnish with fruit of your choice, herbs, spices, nuts, honey
