Ingredients

Quantities are shown as originally provided.

  • 500 g Lamb (boneless, cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 150 g Yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1- inch Ginger (grated)
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Chilli Powder (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • Salt (adjust to taste)
  • Coriander (for garnish)
  • Lemon (wedges, for serving)

Instructions

  1. 1

In a mixing bowl, combine the yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, ground cumin, ground coriander, turmeric powder, paprika, chili powder, garam masala, and a pinch of salt. Mix well to form a smooth marinade.

  2. 2

Add the lamb pieces to the marinade and ensure they are well-coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.

  3. 3

Preheat your grill or oven to a high heat (around 220°C or 430°F).

  4. 4

Thread the marinated lamb pieces onto skewers.

  5. 5

Place the skewers on the grill or in the oven and cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally until the lamb is cooked through and has a nice char.

  6. 6

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with lemon wedges.
